We have had lots of help landscaping this spring. My uncle Mark and aunt Julie stopped by not long ago and brought 25 spruce trees. Mark usually uses them as a grafting rootstock, but these will eventually be a wonderful windbreak for us.
Mom and Dad brought some lilacs last weekend, and Mom and I planted them on a beautiful afternoon. The raspberries and apple trees (a gift from Bob and Jane at Ela Orchard) are growing well, and I just saw the first signs of life on the grape plants.
