A couple of 'lasts'

Last load of bricks! If all the calculations are correct this should be the last load of bricks. We certainly will not miss the long days of driving and stacking bricks. We have made some good friends in What Cheer though and will miss our time with Kate and Jere.

Christy's father Ray was in town today and helped us put the very last rafter in place. All of the lower rafters are in place and we put the last inner rafter in place which had to be notched to fit in with the lower rafters. The kiln shed is really coming along now and we are hoping to have it done in a couple of weeks. Pretty exciting.

If all things go well we should put the last of the purlins up tomorrow!
